New student leadership positions throughout the school have recently been filled with students keen to make an impact in their roles and contribute to the School community.
At Buckley House, the primary student campus at Ivanhoe, Pip and Nikolaos from Grade 6 were named as Captains with a further eight students being named Buckley House Leaders. It is a wonderful opportunity for them to experience a leadership role and to recognise the important contributions they have already made to Buckley House.
At the Plenty Campus Jaidyn and Kate were named as Primary Captains at a special assembly. They will be responsible for representing Plenty Primary and will also work with the Plenty Prefects on whole campus events and with the rest of the Grade 6 leadership group to assist teachers with Plenty Primary matters.
At The Ridgeway Campus in addition to the senior Captains and Prefects in Year 12, there is a Middle Years leadership group that is chosen from Year 9 students who then have responsibilities in regards to Years 7 to 9. This is an opportunity to take on a leadership position whilst in secondary school and to make a greater contribution to a vital area which sees students transition from middle years to senior years.
All leaders have been chosen on merit and are eager to represent Ivanhoe Grammar School in the best way possible. The School looks forward to seeing their service and leadership skills on display to the community.
