On Wednesday 3 June former Premier and current President of the Hawthorn Football Club and Chairman of beyondblue, The Hon Jeff Kennett AC spoke at Ivanhoe Grammar School's first Principal's Leaders' Breakfast of 2009. Mr Kennett captivated the audience as he spoke of the way in which he has dealt with life after politics and the path which led him to beyondblue.
Over 180 guests were present and were greatly entertained by Mr Kennett’s musings on politics, education, and in particular the work which beyondblue does in Australia and Mr Kennett’s involvement.
Questions were also taken from the floor and answers were given in typical direct and comical style, particularly questions about Mr Kennett’s future. He joins a prestigious list of speakers at the Principal’s Leaders’ Breakfast which includes Christine Nixon, Andrew Demetriou, Kevin Sheedy and Harold Mitchell.
